Practice Manager

Our busy practice is searching for a Practice Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, able to manage and coordinate multiple schedules for our team of Physical Therapists, lead our front office staff, ensure all practice operations run smoothly, and most importantly, set the tone for a professional and welcoming experience for our patients. In addition, the Practice Manager will play an integral role in marketing and strategic planning for the growth and promotion of the practice. Skills Needed:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all administrative support as requested by owners and other clinical staff.
  • Answer phones and take accurate messages, track follow through and resolution.
  • Schedule patients according to guidelines or directions from clinical staff.
  • Send out forms and letters related to upcoming appointments.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Process patient payments and provide receipts as requested.
  • Send out bills, statements and patient insurance forms.
  • Enter patient data into on-line patient chart.
  • Scan and upload all documents related to patient.
  • Process worker's compensation and automobile accident claim forms and PT notes as necessary.
  • Communicate with insurance companies as needed.
  • Research and Implement plans for business growth, including new revenue streams.
  • Promote and market Snow Sport and Spine, including website, social media and events.
  • Ensure protection and security of files and records.
  • Define procedures for record retention. Transfer and dispose of records according to schedules and policies.
  • Schedule and plan Staff Meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality of patients and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain compliance policies/procedures for HIPPA & OSHA
  • Establish and maintain excellent interactions with patients and family members.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and problem solving to improve practice as requested
  • Design and implement office policies, procedures and forms as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and security at all times.
  • Training/Managing office staff.
  • Maintain office equipment.

Job Type: Full Time: 40 hours/week

Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Education: Bachelors (preferred)

Experience:

  • Management Experience 2 years
  • Customer Service: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: On Location (Not Remote)
