March 15 COVID 19 UPDATE

March 15 COVID 19 UPDATE

To our friends and patients of Snow Sport & Spine

We are working hard to figure out how to find the balance between providing the healthcare our patients need and practicing good public health policy. This is clearly an unusual and uncertain time in each of our lives. We are following best practices from the CDC with additional strategies we can do in the office to decrease risk. We recognize that guidance is changing daily and it can be hard to stay updated.

We will continue to follow hand washing hygiene strategies and sanitize surfaces.

We are going to space our scheduled patients out to minimize interaction of patients in the waiting room and provide additional time to wipe down handled surfaces (door knobs/ counters/ seat rails/ bathroom surfaces/ whatever else we think might have been in contact with someone else). You might see another patient in the parking lot, but likely not in the office.

Sara and Kristin, our front office team will be working from home, and will do their best in timely responses to your messages.

Katie, Trevor and Felicia will be reaching out to patients individually to discuss their upcoming appointment and coordinate their care through the next few weeks. In our discussions we will consider each patient's risk (age, chronic health conditions, recent travel) to determine the best plan of care.

We are waiving all penalties for missed or late notice cancellations for the next several weeks.

If you have any cold/ flu symptoms, especially cough, sore throat, or fever, please re-schedule your appointment and do not come in until symptoms have completely resolved.

If you have travelled by plane in the past 14 days, we would ask you to practice good social distancing and reschedule your appointment.

We will continue to update you as we receive more information regarding COVID-19, and we thank you for understanding the changes that are necessary to make.
