We are pleased to welcome Sue Michlovitz, certified hand therapist to our practice.

Snow Sport & Spine is excited to be able to add a new "hands on" component to their "hands on" practice. Susan Michlovitz, PT, PhD, FAPTA, a certified hand therapist is now offering consultations to provide expert care in hand rehabilitation. She has recently located to the Rockport area and will share her time between Maine and Ithaca, NY. Sue brings 45 years experience as a physical therapist, whose career ranges from academic PT and research to clinical practice. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Regenerative and Rehabilitation Medicine, Program in Physical Therapy, Columbia University, NYC. Sue has taught at conferences and universities in the US, Canada and Guatemala. She was the 2013 President of the American Society of Hand Therapists and has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Hand Therapy since 1995. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1971 and most recently is being honored as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA, the highest member category of this 100,000 member professional association. Her clinical interests include arthritis care; traumatic hand, wrist and elbow injuries; working with musicians and visual artists; and participating medical mission work in Guatemala. She feels the personal patient-centered care provided at Snow Spine and Sport is very much aligned with her practice style. Sue is in the Rockport area due to her love of photography (and lobster) and is an MFA Candidate in Media Arts at Maine Media Workshops & College.
